We were delighted to lend our support to a charity golf day in aid of Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
The star-studded event, dubbed the ‘Walker Cup’, was organised by TV presenter and football pundit Dan Walker and raised an incredible £60,000 for the charity.
G&A Fire Protection Managing Director Andy Bush, who took part in the event, said:
“We first met Dan at a charity event in 2016 and we pledged straight away to help his fundraising. We were delighted to take part in the golf day and support such a worthwhile cause as the Sheffield Children’s Hospital.”
Dan said: “Thanks to G&A for supporting our golf day for the Children’s Hospital in Sheffield. It was great to have you there and we look forward to seeing you again in 2018.”
G&A entered a team to support the cause alongside Eurobond who invited Managing Director Andy Bush to join their team. The event raised funds for a new multi-purpose Fluoroscopy System for the hospital, a life-saving piece of equipment which is used to obtain real-time moving X-rays.
