G&A Fire Protection are always keen to support local charity events and so we were delighted to accept a place on the starting grid for a corporate go karting competition.
The 120-minute endurance race was raising money for a scheme run by North Hertfordshire District Council (NHDC) which sees the authority donate surplus furniture and electrical equipment to local charities and community groups.
We were invited to enter a team in the charity event after developing a good working relationship in NHDC.
While supporting a worthwhile charity effort was the main order of the evening at Teamworks Karting Letchworth, the fun competitive streak in us was delighted that we also walked away with the trophy!
