G&A Fire Protection were pleased to unveil a project in which we demonstrated some of our rapid installation solutions. As an accredited installer, we are able to utilise a number of our systems to work together to create solutions for large-scale projects. In just under two weeks we tackled and completed the structure you see here for an exciting new branch of a distribution firm in Northamptonshire.
From early design input to the finished product, G&A were able to execute the installation through careful and meticulous planning of every stage. The multi-disciplinary project required us to bring together different systems to work in harmony. It involved a significant element of composite panel firewall installation, intumescent paint, fire boarding, fire cavity barriers and fire stopping. Together, the two hour steel protection, composite panel, fire stopping and the control zones at the head of the wall combine to provide two hour fire separation. This, in turn, creates effective compartmentation in the warehouse area.
Other works to the occupied office areas also utilise composite panel firewall construction, steel protection and fire stopping of service penetrations.
The further fit-out elements to come mean we anticipate a total project value close to £1million. With this, as well as the fantastic result and a satisfied client, we continue to prove our capacity to deliver larger projects on time and to a high standard.
